Trifolion medii Müller 1962

Mesic herbaceous fringe vegetation

new search

The alliance Trifolion medii includes herbaceous vegetation with broad-leaved herbs which is typical of ecotonal sites in moderately warm and moderately dry areas throughout the Czech Republic. Its species composition indicates more mesic conditions when compared to the Geranion sanguinei. This vegetation type is mainly associated with oak-hornbeam forests, thermophilous types of beech forests, and related scrub.
