These are species-poor grasslands dominated by the low-growing grass Lolium perenne or the rosette hemicryptophyte Plantago major. They are found in frequently trampled places on paths, around buildings, on play grounds and in recreational areas. This association is common throughout the Czech Republic from lowlands up to the montane belt, but is not documented by relevés from all areas.
