This association includes subalpine spring vegetation developing on soils with higher organic content compared to the association Crepido paludosae-Philonotidetum seriatae. Herb layer is richer in species, mostly dominated by Swertia perennis and Allium schoenoprasum. This vegetation occurs only in the Krkonoše and Hrubý Jeseník Mountains.
