This association includes open vegetation with Crepis foetida subsp. rhoeadifolia, which is developed on warm, sunny sites with dry, shallow and skeletal soils. It occurs in railway stations, on dumping sites, on dykes and in quarries. In the Czech Republic it is a rather rare plant community occurring in warm and dry areas.
