This association includes eutrophic willow carrs, most frequently dominated by Salix cinerea and in some places also by S. aurita. The herb layer is composed of nutrient-demanding wetland plants, whereas oligotrophic herbs typical of the previous association are rare. Soils are either organic or gleysols. The water table is near the ground surface for most of the year, and periodically the sites are flooded. This association is common on waterlogged sites throughout the Czech Republic, but is poorly documented by relevés.
