This alliance includes inland vegetation of annual succulent halophytes such as Salicornia prostrata and Suaeda prostrata. It occurs on strongly saline, loamy or clayey soils. In the past it was found at several sites in dry areas of southern Moravia, but today this vegetation has been destroyed and both dominant species are extinct in the Czech Republic.
