This saline grassland is dominated by Juncus gerardii or some other halophytes. It is the richest in halophytes of all the Czech saline grasslands. It was formerly found in shallow depressions around mineral springs or on the margins of saline water bodies in southern Moravia. Today its last remnants exist in moist places near villages.
